Gilbert C "Gib" Nichols

Gilbert Charles “Gib” Nichols, 80, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

He was born May 11, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Otto and Marion Nichols. He married Roberta Wier on April 8, 1965 in Port Huron. She died December 16, 2019.

Gilbert co-owned N & N Novelty for many years. He enjoyed restoring antique outboards, going up north and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Nichols; Cathy Nichols; granddaughter, Maryssa; brother, Gary (Marlene) Nichols; sister-in-law, Gail Nichols; sister, Merilyn (Wesley) Kerbyson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Nichols.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township.
