Darryl Robert Brynaert, 65, of Port Huron, died Friday, March 11, 2022.
He was born January 29, 1957 in Detroit to the late Richard and Juanita Brynaert. He married Allison Fenton on October 15, 1994 in Hawaii.
Darryl served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a police officer with the city of Detroit for 25 years. Darryl enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in the yard and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Allison; three children, Sarah Brynaert, Oliver-Paige Brynaert and Claire Brynaert; four grandchildren, Javen, Logan, Noah and Teresa; brother, Steven (Linda) Brynaert; sister, Cheryl Bardaville; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and dog, Chief. He was preceded in death by his dog, Sargent.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Deacon Richard Kleimann will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Inurnment will be in the Allied Veterans Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron.
