Betty L Grattan

Betty Louise Grattan, 89,went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

She was born December 18, 1932 in Port Huron to the late George D. Barrett and Bessie J. Barrett Joseph. She married Don Grattan on June 24, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2001.

Betty was a homemaker who loved the Bible and reading many kinds of books. She enjoyed music, pictures and her many collections. Her greatest joy was her family and friends.

She is survived by four daughters, BJ (Sam), Irene (Jerry), Suzie (Elroy) and Donna (Mike); son, Don (Laura); eight grandchildren, Jessica (Fred), Daniel (Elizabeth), Kelly (Ryan), Heather, Dennis (Taylor), Kristen and DJ (Kaly); great grandchildren, Miranda (Jeff), Landon, Savanna, Evie, Kevin, JJ and Beth (Kane) as well as soon to be born “Pixel”; great great grandchildren, Ezra and Lio; and many others who called her Grandma. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; brother, Carl; and sister-in-law, Audrey. She was preceded by sisters, Leona, Alma, Grace, Lauralee Delorus Jean, and Sharon; brothers, George, Merl and Ross; sisters-in-law, Doris, Louise, Lorraine and Lois; and brothers-in-law, Gerald and Walter.

Betty will be truly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Marwood Nursing Home where she was friends to both staff and residents. They also thank the staff of McLaren Hospice who helped her pass peacefully to her Lord.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Timothy North will officiate.
