JoAnn O’Boyle, 81, of Port Huron Township, died Saturday, April 16, 2022.
She was born April 7, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Alton and Lillian Munger.
Joann was a graduate of Port Huron High School and was employed in the jewelry industry for many years. She enjoyed going to the casino, line dancing, playing cards and board games, reading her Bible and talking with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Robert Michael (Lori) O’Boyle, James Patrick O’Boyle (Trina Corwin) and Cheryl Lynn O’Boyle; daughters-in-law, Cheryl Ann and Jacalyn Renee O’Boyle; grandchildren, Tanya (Rich) Watson, Robert O’Boyle (Tina Ciraulo), James Patrick O’Boyle II (April Klann), Jesse James (Jessica) O’Boyle, Jenelle (Thomas) Colbary and Brianah Murray (Alexis Edie); eight great grandchildren; sisters, Deborah (Patrick) Knowles and Valerie (Dennis) Genaw; good friends, Lynn Nelson, Aggie Buhagiar, Shirley O’Boyle and Claire and Bob Schultz. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Gurske; brother, Alton Munger Jr.; and father of her children, Robert O’Boyle.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend James Turner of Marysville Assembly of God will officiate.
