Mr. Clinnie “Bro” Edwards, 72, of Port Huron, was born May 18, 1939 and went to spend eternity with the Lord on December 4, 2011. He died at home, surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends.
He was born to the late John Willie Edwards and Eula Mae Williams in Opelika, Alabama. He married Mary Jemison, his devoted and loving wife of 41 years.
Mr. Edwards enjoyed fishing, playing his musical instrument and spending the majority of his time with his family and friends. He was a press operator at Superb Products for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jemison Edwards. seven children, Jerome (Sherryl) Roberts, Lorraine Jemison, Brenda (Sylvester) Henderson, Anthony Edwards, James Jemison (Billie Jo Dortman) and Leon Jemison and Tina Edwards; many grand and great grandchildren, including grandson, Demetrius Jemison; a sister, Lorrie “B” Edwards; a brother, Larry Edwards; his mother-in-law, Berdie Mae Culpepper; three sisters-in-law, including a loving and devoted sister-in-law, Jewall Graham; five brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and two special friends, Bruce Meyer and Dino Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. Bishop R.D. Burrell will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be his sons and nephews.
