Andrea R Wendt

Andrea Rose Wendt, 60, of Deckerville, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 after a long illness.

She was born July 30, 1961 in Detroit to the late Thomas and Rosemarie Walker. She married Frederick Wendt in September 1986 in Fraser.

Andrea was employed in retailing for many years including working in the Girl Scouts Michigan Waterways Council store in Port Huron. Family and friends will remember her enthusiasm for scouting and her impact on many girls’ lives. She loved camping, sewing, arts and crafts and spending time with her dogs and grand-dogs. She was also very interested in anything to do with llamas.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Fred; two children, Kara (Jordan) Everts and Kyle Wendt; two loving brothers, Chris and Mike Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
