Mary C Nunez

Mary C. Nunez, 74, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully at home Monday, May 9, 2022.

She was born April 14, 1948 in Smiths Creek to the late Agnes and James Gaffney Sr. She married Ronnie L. Nunez Sr. on April 15, 1967 in Port Huron. He passed away May 2, 2021.

Mary was employed with Mary Maxim for 40 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church and was a former Catechism teacher . She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching Survivor and Big Brother on TV, baking cakes and spending time with her family. She collected antique glassware.

She is survived by four sons, Ronnie (Cassandra) Nunez Jr., Scott Nunez (Michele Bolus), Randy (Margo) Nunez and Craig (Treasa) Nunez; grandchildren, Ronnie III (Courtney), Tyler, Jessica, Melissa, Morgan, Makayla, Brendan, Jackee, Craig Jr. (Haley), Jeanné and Juliette; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Helen and Carol; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Gaffney Jr.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
