Zola F Somers

Zola Faye Somers, 89, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, May 15, 2022.

She was born January 5, 1933 in Wisconsin to the late Merle and Caroline Johnson. She married Charles W. Somers on December 28, 1950 in Texas. He died October 12, 2005.

Zola enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and needlepoint. She especially enjoyed playing an active role in all her kid’s activities. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three sons, Charles “Fred” (Cindy) Somers, Byron (Julie) Somers and Victor (Sharon) Somers; three daughters, Caroline Harvey, Karen Ultsch and Merle Waibel; 23 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.

Burial will be in Shell Lake Cemetery, Wisconsin.
