Ralph G Stump

Ralph Gurney Stump, 87, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2022.

He was born July 25, 1934 in Port Huron to Dail and Leona Stump. He married Clara Yeager on August 29, 1953 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on May 14, 2001.

Ralph was employed with Mueller Brass Company for 43 years prior to his retirement in 1996. He was a car enthusiast, could do anything with his hands and loved helping his family, especially in a crisis. He was a simple and good man who possessed the fortitude to find solutions.

He leaves behind his son, Dail; daughter-in-law, Jody; grandchildren, Daniel, Joel, Douglas, Billy, Abby and Connor; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Danny, in 2006; a brother, Roger; and two sisters, Ruth and Rita.

Private family services have been held. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
