Michael Tyrone “TT” Simond, 40, of Port Huron died unexpectedly Friday, May 27, 2022 at home.

He was born September 28, 1981 in Port Huron to Eunice Hill and Michael Simond.

Michael taught gymnastics and dance at the Detroit studio. A creative artist, he also enjoyed home design, fashion and hairdressing. He played clarinet, flute, saxophone and trombone.

He is survived by his mother, Eunice (Vester) Hill of Roseville; his father, Michael (Helen) Simond of Port Huron; his grandmother, Linda Kareem; grandfather, Donald Jackson; a brother, Adrian Simond of Sterling Heights; a sister Alyce Hill of Roseville; aunts, Marian Beach, Veronica (Robert) Thompson, Mia (Roy) Hannah, Cynthia Morgan and Melanie (Emillio) Sorrentini; uncles, Mark (Teri) Moncrief, Calvin (Christina) Beach and Stuart Morgan; and a host of cousins including DeeDee and Twylia Morgan, Ryan, Toni, Mia Monea and LeRoy Hannah, Brittney, Nate, Calvin, Jack and Melvina Beach, Melveena Clifton, Sonia Perkin-Thompson, Kennedy and Kobi Moncrief, Shanica Bailey Thompson, Robert Thompson, Sabrina and Nolan McClarty, Antoinette McMillan, Demia McClarty, Gordon (DeeDee) Stephens, Roanic Stephens, Kathy Stephens, Karen (Stephens) Bailey, Ella McDowell, Clifton (Bootsy) Morgan, Jeremiah Miller, Patrick Miller, Darius Miller, Geno Swift and Steven (Dwain) Morgan; and a special friend, Sam Smith. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Eunice Jackson, Melvin Beach, and Faye & Johnnie Spears; and uncle, Steven Morgan.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2022 from 4-6 PM in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 6 in the funeral home, with Elder David Nichols officiating. The family requests masks be worn for the safety and comfort of others.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
