Ernest S Osentoski

Ernest Stanley Osentoski, 97, of Marysville, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

He was born July 13, 1924 in Austin Township to the late Paul and Angeline Osentoski. He married Genevieve E. Dingman on August 30, 1952 in St. Christopher Catholic Church.

Ernest served in the United States Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He was employed with the City of Marysville for 33 years before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Genevieve; son, Charles (Carol) Osentoski; daughter, Karen Osentoski; and sister, June Ward. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Casimir and Irvin Osentoski; and sister, Virginia Ren.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Joseph DeHass will officiate. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home under the auspices of the United States Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
