Patricia A Troy

Patricia Ann Troy, 89, of Marysville, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

She was born October 24, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Leo and Georgina King. She married Robert E. Troy on January 22, 1955 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died December 21, 2019.

Patricia was employed with Woodland Developmental Center - St. Clair County RESA for 20 years and retired in 1995. She was an active member at St. Christopher Catholic Church and School and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She volunteered with local soup kitchens and delivered communion to homebound individuals. Patricia especially enjoyed raising five wonderful children and volunteering her time with them at their school activities.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Joan) Troy, Jeffrey (Patty) Troy and Christopher (Lisa) Troy; two daughters, Angela Patterson and Mary (Gary) Sieman; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Troy; son-in-law, Michael Patterson; and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Troy.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home with prayers and a time of sharing memories at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Troy will lie in state at St. Christopher Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Mid-City Nutrition.
