Stella L. Crews

Stella Louise Crews, 72, of Port Huron, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

She was born February 21, 1950 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late John and Irene Crews.

Stella accepted Christ at an early age. She enjoyed teaching, writing poetry, reciting at conferences and playing chess. She was a professional secretary and worked at Catholic Social Services and Detroit Job Corp.

Stella leaves to cherish her memory a son-in-law, Rio Danier; grandson, Aias Danier; two sisters, Bernice (Alvin) Mitchell and Diane Crews; brother, John Crews; sister-in-law, Delores Crews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shahida Danier; mother, Irene Jackson; sister, Cecelia Davis; and brother, Michael Curtis Crews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Carl Miller will officiate.
