Yvonne "Suzie" Schmude

Yvonne Sue Schmude, 76, of Port Huron Township, died Saturday, July 9, 2022.

She was born September 3, 1945, in Lebanon, Indiana. She married Larry Schmude on November 21, 1977 in Port Huron.

Suzie was a 1964 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she also marched in JFK’s inaugural parade. She was employed as a nurse for many years. She enjoyed making paper and art. Suzie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry; three children, Brant (Jennifer) Barber, Lisa Barber and Christian (Erika) Barber; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Jackson: and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Ellen Marshall.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
