Mable Dobson, 68, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, July 14, 2022.
She was born October 16, 1953 in Port Huron and married Thomas G. Dobson on April 3, 1971 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2021 after 49 years of marriage.
Mable graduated from Port Huron High School. Over the years, she was employed with Prestolite, Hooks, Rite Aid and Vollmers.
She is survived by three children, Tammy (Chris) Warsinski, Gary (Sarah) Dobson and Kathy (Tony) Washington; 12 grandchildren, Christopher (Chelsea) Warsinski, Joshua Dobson, Meghan (Austin) Thompson, Malarie and Murissa Thompson, McKeniah (Chris) Thorpe, Anthony, Alex, Ariana, Abigaile, Amelia and Aubree Washington; 14 great grandchildren; and siblings, Charles (Krystal) Taylor, Danny Curtis, Donald (Kris) Curtis, Debbie Helewski, Margaret Fleury, Betty (Greg) Hoppenworth, Kim Benedict, Kathleen Davis, Chris (Michelle) Curtis and very special brother, Lyle Curtis. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Dobson; parents, Bertha and Lyle Curtis; sisters, Vickie (Jim) Hand and Theada (Tom) Dimon; brother-in-law, Randy Helewski; and dear friend, Ken Dean.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Bill Forbes will officiate. Friends and family may view the livestream by going to Mable’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
