Ernest Alexander Allen, 86, of Port Huron, died Sunday, July 17, 2022.
He was born August 31, 1935 in Port Huron to the late Alexander and Gladys Allen. He married Barbara Baird on September 9, 1955 in Port Huron. She died May 25, 2000.
Ernest was employed at Aikman Bread Company for 20 years. He was also a self-employed farmer, involved in construction and was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his children, Linda Ady, Jeffrey Allen, Karen (William) DeLand and Paul (Karen) Allen; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Delbert Ruck; and special friends, Bill and Shirley Struble. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Stephen Ady; daughter-in-law, Julie Allen; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Tom Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.
