James Edward Hazlewood, 84, of Port Huron, died Friday, July 22, 2022.
He was born August 23, 1937 in Mullens, West Virginia to the late Estil Greene and Nevadie McKinney Hazlewood. He married his high school sweetheart, Reba Hodge on June 21, 1958 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Jim was a field accountant for a major construction company. He had assignments in 10 states, some of them twice. He was a Stephen Minister for many years and after retirement worked for Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Reba; their children, James Hazlewood Jr. and Paul (Kim) Hazlewood; grandchildren, Dallas and Spencer (Danielle) Hazlewood and Tricia Wiget; and great grandchildren, Colten and Cash Hazlewood, Madison and Brynlee Hazlewood and Evelyn and Ava Wiget.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Brian Ake will officiate.
