Ardith J Wilson
Ardith Jane Wilson, 98, of St. Clair Township, died Friday, July 22, 2022.
She was born September 10, 1923 in Port Huron to the late Edward and Zelma Kasemeyer. She married Stanley “Bill” Wilson on June 30, 1946 in Smiths Creek. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2000 after 53 years of marriage.
Ardith was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Smiths Creek Community Church where she played the organ for many years. She enjoyed sewing, painting and wintering in Texas.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Julie) Wilson; two daughters, Debra McLeod (Loryn Bright) and Doris Fryer; five grandchildren, Debra (Victor) Tanton, Todd (Dana) Wilson, Amy (Jason) Wattle, Trevor Fryer and Leah Fryer (Kody Duffy); six great grandchildren, Hayley (Scott) Smith, Rochelle Tanton (Dan Weaver), Ryan (Tabitha) Wilson, Avery Wilson, Jonah and Lilly Wattle; four great great grandchildren, Scott, Bentley and Cole Smith, and Willow Wilson; sister, Lois Langolf; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Paul Fryer and John McLeod.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Wilson, Scott Smith, Dan Weaver, Kody Duffy, Victor Tanton and Jonah Wattle.
