Terrance W Ray

Terrance W. Ray, 72, of Kimball Township, died Saturday, December 31, 2011.

He was born June 30, 1939 in Mt. Clemens to the late Warren and Lyla Ray. He married Lila Byrd on June 21, 1980 in Port Huron.

Mr. Ray was a welder with Ford Tractor for many years. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of Hogs in Ministry and the Blue Water Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lila; six children, Dawn (Markus) Ellis, Nina (Frank) Leonard, Jackie Carboy, Earl Ray, Jennifer (Tony) Rhoads and Sara Ray; six step children, Lyle “Smokey” Samuelson, Daniel Samuelson, Joseph (Lori) Samuelson, Robert (Laurie) Samuelson, Sylvia (Harry) McKinney and Starr Samuelson; 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (Phillip) Villasenor; brother, Scott Ray; a brother-in-law, Samuel (Phyllis) Byrd; several nieces and nephews; and his two special dog friends, Rascal and Sasha.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2011 in the Blue Water Free Methodist Church with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Joshua Samuelson, Justin Lee, Terrance Samuelson, Jeremy Samuelson, Thomas Harvey and Adrian Jackson.
