Jason J Cole

Jason J. Cole, 46, of Greenwood Township, died Saturday, July 30, 2022, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.

He was born April 30, 1976 in Port Huron.

Jason was a 1994 graduate of Yale High School where he played football, softball and ran track and field. He was employed with SMR Automotive for over 10 years. Jason had a special love for gaming, playing cards and collecting Frankenstein memorabilia. He liked to joke around with people and spend time camping with family in Grayling.

He is survived by his son, Hunter (Nola) Cole; life-partner, Yelena Way; dad, Larry Blaszczuk (Bridget Smith); brother, Kenneth (Renae) Reed; sisters, Kelly (Scott) Mennemeyer and Tiffany (Larry) Powers; nieces and nephews, Reed, Jordyn, Nolan, Abby and Shane; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Cole; and mother, Kathy M. Blaszczuk.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Lisa Clark will officiate.

Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Greenwood Township. Pallbearers will be Hunter Cole, Reed Shimkus, Nolan Shimkus, Doug Brown, Todd Brown, Darrin Sherman, Billy Budinger and Shane Powers.
