Jackie M "Jack" Schumacher

Jack Martin Schumacher, 76, of Marysville, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

He was born February 5, 1946 in Sebewaing to the late Elmer and Mary Schumacher. He married Alfreda “Freda” Davis on January 18, 1975 in Fort Gratiot.

During his public administration career, Jack served as Assistant City Manager of Vassar, Fort Gratiot Township Manager; City Manager of Imlay City and was City Manager of Marysville for 27 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Marysville Rotary, Shriners and the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Freda; three children, David, Jack Jr., and Tracey; siblings, Connie Gangler and Elmer Schumacher Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
