Betty Louise Moore, 75, of Port Huron Township went to be home with the Lord Saturday, August 6, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born September 11, 1946 in Port Huron to the late William and Alberta Miller.

Betty graduated from Port Huron Cosmetology School and was a self-employed beautician, operated Mo Betta food catering and also Louise's Visions of Beauty ceramics for many years. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Sacramento, California where she sung in the choir called Justified. She recently relocated to Port Huron Michigan and was a member of Restoration Christian Community Church. She loved singing, cooking and made a mean pot of greens. She always dressed to the nines and her hair was always dyed, fried and laid to the side. She also enjoyed dancing, spending quality time with her family, had a sense of humor and a laugh that was infectious. She was lovingly called Betty Boop and affectionately called NaNa by her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Melony Miller, Althea (Robert) Mclellan, Brodrick (Mya) Miller, Joaneene Colvard, Inetta Moore and Ja’Huan (Kia) Johnson; bonus son, Harry E. Jones “Chuckie”; 80 grandchildren and great grandchildren; 14 siblings, Diana Brabson, Kay Wright, William (Yvonne) Miller Jr., Denise Moore, Edna (Michael) Howell, Reverend Carl (Deborah) Miller Sr., Debra (Thomas) McNair, Kenneth Jones, Veronica Miller, Karen Jones, Douglas Jones, Felicia Sumner, Alkynee Miller and Kimberly Miller-West; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Alberta (Buster) Brown; father and stepmother, William (Janeaster) Miller Sr.; three grandchildren, Marlon, Denisha and Brodrick; and brother, Clarence Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Restoration Christian Community Church, Port Huron with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Betty’s brother, Pastor Carl Miller Sr. will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
