Orlan H Borgerson

Orlan Helmer Borgerson, 85, of Port Huron, died Monday, August 15, 2022.

He was born June 28, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Helmer and Emmaline Borgerson. He married Shirley Cook on December 6, 1957 in Port Huron.

Orlan served in the United States Army. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years and then owned and managed three coin-operated carwashes in the Port Huron Area. He enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley; three children, Orland Borgerson, Susan Matthews (fiancé George Benjamin) and Michele (Jim) Forstner; four grandchildren, Jordan Matthews, Taylor Matthews, Sydney Forstner and Ethan Forstner; brother, Doug Borgerson; sister, Ann (Les) Waxon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Borgerson.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, followed by a service at 8:00 p.m. Dr. Joe Baunoch will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
