Kathleen M Koob

Kathleen Marie Koob, 78, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, August 25, 2022.

She was born January 20, 1944 in Detroit to the late John and Virginia McDonald and was raised in Memphis. She married James R. Koob on December 5, 1965 in Richmond.

Kathleen was employed as a medical assistant at Blue Water Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 20 years before her retirement in 2011. She was a member of the Euchre Club in Marysville. She loved gardening and going to casinos. She was known for her caring heart and her family was the most important part of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim; two sons, Bradley and Thomas (Theresa) Koob; grandchildren, James Thomas “J.T.” Koob, Kariss (Rob) Kolman, Alex (Cory) Carruth and Jensen (Shaunell) Zickefoose; great grandchildren, Maeleigh, Jace and Adrian; sisters, Jackie (Ron) Guth and Sherry Woolley; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friends, Judy Parent, Nancy Schultz and Ann DeBell. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Nathan Woolley; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Barbara Koob.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend William Wright will officiate.
