Diane E Wessel

Diane Elizabeth Wessel, 82, of Marysville, formerly of Auburn Hills, died Monday, August 29, 2022.

She was born January 16, 1940 in Port Huron to the late Joseph and Mary Wessel.

Diane graduated from St. Stephen High School. She was a dental receptionist for Dr. Klettner for 19 years and retired in 1980. Diane was a lifelong Catholic and attended church in both Port Huron and Auburn Hills.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Linda) Wessel; sister-in-law, Helen Wessel; many nieces and nephews, including Penny, Tim and Jim Baker, Jennifer Jacobson Moore, Debbie Otto, Phillip Wessel, Kathy Sanderson, Michael Wessel, Sue Ann Wessel, Joe Wessel and Angie West; and several great nieces, great nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Phillip Wessel; and sisters, Phyllis Baker and Valerie Wessel Jacobson.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A time of sharing will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Diane will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
