Bette Mavis Floyd
Bette Mavis Floyd, 91, of Port Huron, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
She was born April 16, 1931 in Port Huron to the late Henry and Irene McAllister. She married Emory Floyd on June 24, 1950 in Port Huron.
Bette worked along side her husband at their furniture store for many years prior to their retirement. She was a devoted member of Grace Life Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing the organ and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Emory; daughter, Brenda Haines; four sons, Emory (Laura) Floyd III, Terry (Laurie) Floyd, Jeff (Tracy) Floyd and Tim (Holly) Floyd; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Bill (Barb) McAllister; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine, Arlene, Gertrude and Jennie; and son-in-law, Don Haines.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 in Grace Life Baptist Church, 7040 Imlay City Road, Clyde, MI with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Matt McPhillips will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be her sons.
