Edna Pearl “Robin” Brown-Howell, 72, of Port Huron, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
She was born November 9, 1949 in New Haven to the late Buster Ben and Hattie Brown and raised by the late Alberta Brown.
Robin attended Port Huron Area Schools and worked many years in the plastic industry until her retirement at the early age of 50. She enjoyed her family, cooking and being the babysitter/nanny for many of her nieces and sisters’ children. She was a lifelong, faithful member of Restoration Christian Community Church where she served as a door greeter and an usher.
She leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Ryan (Dominique) Brown and Sheridan Brown; five grandchildren, Reyelle (Keith) Brown, Rieonna Brown, Ryane Brown, Serenity Brown and Issac Ryan Brown; two great grandchildren, Airis Ryan and Keith “KJ” Brown; husband, Michael; special goddaughter, Daphne Lyn Noble; four special friends, Rhonda Noble, Jackie Russell, Kay Tilman and Lori “Lil Momma” Malcom; 15 siblings, Diana Brabson, Kay Wright, William (Yvonne) Miller Jr., Denise Moore, Reverend Carl (Deborah) Miller Sr., Debra (Thomas) McNair, Robert (Clara) Hall, Larry Hall, Steven Hall, Herbie (Felicia) Hall, Vina (Wes) Wilson, Anthony (Sabena) Brown, Sandra Brown and Timothy (Latoya) Brown; and a host a nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Moore and Gloria Rae “Cookie” Henry; and two close-knit casino/card playing girlfriends, Gilda “Gee Chie” Scruggs and Mary Noble.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Edna’s brother, Pastor Carl Miller Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
