Ralph E Pettee
Ralph Eugene Pettee, 91, of Marysville, died Friday, September 16, 2022.
He was born April 29, 1931 in Port Huron to the late Frederick and Maybelle Pettee. He married Patricia Berden on December 22, 1951 in Port Huron. She died October 8, 2000.
Mr. Pettee was employed as a carman with Grand Trunk Western Railroad. He loved to play the organ, watch television, was a licensed minister and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his children, Debra Leroux, Karen Cope, Susan (Joseph) Robinson and Mark (Julie) Pettee; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Joseph Robinson, Timothy Cope and Mark Cope; and siblings, Clifford, Richard, Frederick, Lloyd, and Pete Pettee, Lois Black, Garldeen “Jean” Wendt and Doris Cherry.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 22, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Sammy Golden will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township. Pallbearers will be Trever Pettee, Daniel Pettee, Todd Smith, Steven Cope, Ryan Robinson and Sarah Brown.
