Everett C Studaker
Everett C. Studaker, 94, of Port Huron, died Monday, September 19, 2022.
He was born May 13, 1928 in Buel Township to the late George and Beatrice Studaker. He married Edith Weiss on August 19, 1950 in Croswell. She preceded him in death on October 31, 2011.
Mr. Studaker was employed with Chrysler Corporation from 1946 to 1951 and 1953 to 1959. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. He began his career with the City of Port Huron in 1959 and retired in 1987 as a Water Distribution Foreman after 28 years of service. Mr. Studaker was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. He was an avid sportsman and particularly enjoyed his annual trip out to Wyoming to hunt for mule deer and antelope.
He is survived by two sons, James (June) Studaker and Randy (Betty) Studaker; grandchildren, Travis (Debbie) Studaker, Kelli (Jacob) Orr, Jared Studaker and Abigail Studaker; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford, Irvin and Carleton.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Faith Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Timothy Eichberger will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery.
