Anthony W "Tony" Kamendat

Anthony William “Tony” Kamendat, 76, of Clyde Township, died Saturday, October 1, 2022.

He was born October 4, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Anthony “Tony” and Ettalean Kamendat. He married Lynne MacDonald on June 3, 1967 in Fargo.

Anthony was employed at Marvel Tool for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, shooting black powder guns and spending time with family. Tony’s favorite hobby was working in his garage. He made a variety of bird houses, cradles and outdoor furniture for family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynne; three children, Krystal (Russell) Pickering, David Kamendat and Anthony (Abbey) Kamendat Jr.; five grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda and Austin Pickering and Cole and Gwen Kamendat; two great grandchildren, Braeden and Sydney Gray; three siblings, Cassandra Sanders, Peggy (Donald) Kinney and Jon (Sue) Kamendat; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Phil Whetstone will officiate.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Kamendat Jr., Cole and David Kamendat, Austin and Russell Pickering and Steven MacDonald.
