Charles Edward McGriff, 37, of Clyde Township, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 of a pulmonary embolism.
He was born September 14, 1985 in Port Huron to Michael and Debra McGriff.
Charlie graduated from Port Huron High School in 2004. He was employed at Certified Collision and previously at Cawood Honda and Alan’s Expert Auto. Charlie loved fixing cars, dirt bikes and motorcycles. He was a man with many talents, enjoyed making people laugh and had a heart of gold. He loved his Labrador Retrievers.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Debra McGriff; sister, Chelsie McGriff; “adopted sister”, Amanda Isaac and family; best friend, Crystal Waldrop; aunts, Vicki Edwards, JoEllen Edwards and Melissa (Jamie) Olaya; several beloved cousins, including special cousins, Kevin Edwards, Justin Edwards, Carol Parry and Ted Daniel; and great aunts, Margaret Cawood, Arlene (Ken) Lee and Elizabeth Fuller. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evan and Evelyn Edwards and Charles and Roberta McGriff; and uncle, Kirk Edwards.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Family and friends may view the livestream of the service by visiting Charlie’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
