Karon Anderson Thomas, 78, of Port Huron, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
She was born January 2, 1944 in Port Huron to the late James Anderson and the late Marguerite Stanley.
In her adult life, Karon worked for many years as an operator with AT&T before retiring to spend cherished time with her children and grandchildren.
Karon leaves behind her husband, Waddell, and seven children to carry on her legacy, Kevin (Michelle) Thomas of Atlanta, Karen (Bobby) Brisby, of Port Huron, Wardell Thomas of Atlanta, Marc (Liz) Thomas of Fort Gratiot, Scott (Amy) Thomas and Michelle (Charles) Beam all of Port Huron, and Michael Miller of Minnesota; 29 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Janice (James) Amin, James (Pat) Stanley II, Charles (Lorna) Stanley, Cynthia (Douglas) Boggan, Denise (Willie) Crochrell, Beverly Davis, Mary Ann Lincoln, James (Dawn) Lincoln, Ella Louise Lincoln, Michael Lincoln and Janice L. Johnson; aunt, Marilyn Benton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bishop Link Howard III will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
