Donna A. Rock, 103, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, November 5, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was born August 27, 1919 in Lexington to the late Thomas and Laurine McDonald.
Donna was a 1936 graduate of Lexington High School. She was employed as a secretary at Port Huron Paint for over 38 years before her retirement. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. Donna loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment. She had a special spot in her home sitting in her favorite chair looking out the front window.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlene (Douglas) Ackerman and Sally Wacker; daughter-in-law, Nancy Rock; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; former son-in-law, Charles (Vicky) Knowlton; and special friends, Wilanne and William Kimball and David McElroy.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Bonney in 1952 and George Rock in 1987; two step-sons, William and Charles Rock; son-in-law, Robert Wacker; and two sisters, Lillian Regan and Marie Klaty.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in First United Methodist Church. The Reverend Drew Hart and the Reverend Jeffery Regan will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
