John C Hawkins

John Charles Hawkins, 67, of Port Huron, died Thursday, December 1, 2022.

He was born May 27, 1955 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Phyllis Hawkins.

John was retired. He was employed at Eastside Building Materials, LumberJack and Wirtz Manufacturing. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle named Brown Sugar, hunting and sailing. He could fix anything which he always referred to as his Hawkeye Engineering. He was very imaginative with his sketches and drawings.

He is survived by his daughter, Jami Hawkins (Mike Goodnough); beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Fleming; brother, Howard Hawkins; sister, Lorrie Hawkins; several nieces and nephews; cherished friend, Debbie Allor; and grandpup, Cali. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Berish (Hawkins).

A memorial event will be held at a later date.
