Mary L Siemen

Mary Louise Siemen, 95, of Marysville, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

She was born November 28, 1927 in Kimball Township to the late Ernest “Ernie” and Gail Sturdevant. She married John H. Siemen in 1951. He died November 18, 2021.

Mary was a teacher with the Marysville School District for 35 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, gardening and reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Richard “Dean”) Siskonen; granddaughter, Katie (Adam) Wurster; sister, Carole Lohr; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Elliott, and Herbert Sturdevant.

Private family services have been held and burial was in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Marysville Public Schools to be used for purchasing new elementary library books. Please send checks to 495 E. Huron Blvd, Marysville and designate “In Memory of Mary Siemen” in the memo.
