Paul Gerard Urben, 67, of Marysville, died Thursday, December 22, 2022.
He was born August 30, 1955 in Detroit to the late Paul and Patricia Urben. He married Patricia Peterson on November 28, 1981 in Warren.
Paul was employed with Serra-Whelan Chevrolet for many years. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family and loved his wife’s cooking. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Marysville Council #9526 and 4th Degree Assembly #2521 Father John R. Hogan.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia; four children, Paul (Jennifer) Urben, David Urben, Greg (Nicole) Urben and Alicia Urben; five grandchildren, Ariel, Phoenix, Benjamin, Rylee and Summer; siblings, Cathy (Chris) Staniek, Theresa (Ed) Nardozzi, Mark (Daria) Urben and Charles Urben; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Kasper.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Rosary and a Chalice presentation will be held at 7:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate. Pallbearers will be his children.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to St. Stephen Catholic Church.
