Warren Jay Brown Jr.

Warren J. Brown Jr., 72, of St. Clair, died Friday, December 23, 2022.

He was born July 18, 1950 in St. Marys, Pennsylvania to the late Elna and Warren Brown Sr.

Warren served with the United States Navy for 22 years. After leaving the Navy, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Michigan State University. He worked in the engineering field for several years before taking a job at the VA Hospital in Detroit, where he worked for 7 years until his retirement. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed woodworking, camping and doing things with the senior’s group at Columbus Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Whitford; two children, Erica (James) Mokarem, Jason Brown; two stepchildren, Rob Roy Chalmers and Keri Chalmers; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three siblings, Clare (Peter) Bolster, Peggy Lininger and Mary (Jerry) Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

Private burial services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Navy.
