Lucille Lasky
Lucille Marie Lasky, 88, of Port Huron, went peacefully to be with the Lord from her home on Monday, January 23, 2012.
She was born April 6, 1923 in Lexington to the late Henry and Hazel Vincent. She married August J. Lasky in 1945. They had 30 wonderful years together before his death in 1975.
Mrs. Lasky was a cook at Mercy Hospital for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family.
She is survived by five sons, James (Beverly), Henry (JoAnna), Larry, Joseph and George Lasky; eight daughters, Carol Kandler, Sheila Lasky, Judy Ferguson, Lucy (Junior) Smith, Georgnia Smith, Frances Renno, Porshia Hess and Linda Lasky; two brothers, Jack (Betty) Vincent and Robert (Sue) Vincent; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also had an extended family with Wali Baarak and his family. She was preceded in death by four children, William Hadrich, Emil “Jessie” Hadrich, Patsy Hadrich and August “Butch” Lasky III, and a grandson, Ronald J. Frye.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
