William "Barry" Heacock

William “Barry” Heacock, 60, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, December 29, 2022.

He was born June 5, 1962 in Port Huron to the late William J. and Donna A. Rexford. He married Julie Ann Perry on January 6, 2006 in Port Huron.

Barry worked detailing and maintenance with Moran Chevrolet for many years. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially golf, bowling, baseball, football and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Julie Heacock; step-son, Clinton Perry; grandchildren, Marcus and Aiden; sister-in-law, Lezlie Perry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Heacock; and siblings, Sandra Glover, Michelle “Mickie” Spencer, Michael Rexford and Ricky Heacock.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 in the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, Port Huron Township. Pastor Tray Smith will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Woodland Cemetery Columbarium.
