Harold A "Bud" Lewandowski
Harold Allen “Bud” Lewandowski, 79, of Kimball Township, died Sunday, January 8, 2023.
He was born May 20, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Francis Stalker. He married Carol Ellis on November 7, 1975 in Port Huron.
Harold served in the United States Marines for 12 years and then was employed with Wirtz Manufacturing for many years before his retirement. He was very patriotic and was a member of the American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8 and V.F. W. Charles Schoor Post #796. He enjoyed hunting and loved his children and his grandchildren fiercely.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; daughter, Jeriann (David) Markle; two grandchildren, Tarrah Ware and Jason McCormick; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Leah (David) Beach and Mary Rushing; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert McCormick; granddaughter, Corinne Meisner; sister, Patricia Crawford; and brother-in-law, Ray Rushing.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Douglas Studaker will officiate
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Dave Beach, Dave Markle, Rob Ware, Lenny Wilkins, Ty Baker and Mike Gardner. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marines and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
