Phillip Arthur Hurst, 55, of North Street, passed away peacefully after his battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
He was born November 14, 1967 in Port Huron to Mary and the late Richard Hurst.
Phillip was employed with Brag Inc. for many years. He loved his Harley and was a Chevy guy. Phillip enjoyed rebuilding trucks and motors, and buying and selling parts. He was a very giving and creative person, and was especially talented at building art out of car parts.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Hurst; daughter, Samantha Murray (Sean Vernocke); grandchildren, Adriana, Bryant, and Audrina; three sisters, Debbie (Steve) Kamendat, Carol Hurst and Laurie Peltier; and many nieces, nephews and friends, including his good friend, Mike. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; and grandson, Sean M. Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Phil Whetstone will officiate.
