Nancy H Sharpe

Nancy Helen Sharpe, 80, of Marysville, formerly of Independence, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

She was born June 9, 1942 in Marysville to the late Arthur A. and Helen Schoenrock. She married Robert D. “Bob” Sharpe on March 5, 1969 in Lansing.

Nancy attended Marysville High School and after graduation worked in the higher education financial aid industry for many years. She was an active member of the American Legion Post 4 Auxiliary in Florence, Kentucky and also a past Commander of the Power Squadron in Kentucky. Nancy liked boating, bonfires, and enjoying a cold beer.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob; seven children, Tami (Mike) McKenney, Clint (Lori) Paterson, Brenda Thomas, Robert D. “Rob” Sharpe Jr., Steve (Nancy) Sharpe, Robyn Johnson, and Kelly Coleman; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Peggy Schoenrock and Gloria King; brother-in-law, Rudy (Paula) Sharp; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Green; a grandson, Patrick McKenney; and two brothers, Fred and Ike Schoenrock.

Private family memorial services have been held.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
