Susan A Dresser

Susan Ann Dresser, 70, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, February 5, 2023.

She was born May 10, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Curtis and Doris Kidd. She married Steven Dresser on February 13, 1981 in Port Huron.

Susan graduated from Port Huron High School in 1970. She was employed with Orthopedic Associates for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed walking, reading, sunbathing, shopping on QVC and playing Candy Crush on the computer. She was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Steven; two children, Heather (Gregory) Rousey and Jeremy Strode; grandchildren, Isaiah Rousey, Olivia Rousey, Alaina Rousey and Cullen Strode; three sisters, Sandra (Daniel) Carr, Debra (Pedro) Ruiz and Marilyn (Bryan) Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and dog, Frannie. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Laubach.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023 in St. Paul Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Branden Hunt will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or the Port Huron High School Band Boosters.
