Walter R Perry

Walter Richard Perry, 82, of Marysville, died Sunday, February 5, 2023.

He was born January 28, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Walter and Ruby Perry.

Walter was employed with USM, Foster Farms and Tente throughout his career. He enjoyed cooking and woodworking and had a heart for stray animals. He was a generous man and loved helping others.

He is survived by a son, David Perry; three daughters, Joanne (Charles) Elder, Sheri Perry and Margie Perry; 12 grandchildren, David Perry (Bre Tanner), Kevin and Madelyn Perry, Deanne and Nicole Gomes, Anthony and Daniel Elder, Michael, Aaron and Tyler Armentrout, and Ryan and Savannah Perry; a sister, Linda (John) Mabe; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and William Perry.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Marysville Villa Estates Clubhouse, 3333 Ravenswood, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
