Torrie Diane McDowell, 49, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 4, 2023.
She was born March 27, 1973 in Port Huron.
Torrie was employed as a nursing home LPN for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
She leaves to mourn her passing her father, Joseph (Marci) McDowell; two daughters, Ashlei and Cierra McDowell; grandchildren, Alijah Buchanan, Brioni Brown, Caidyn McDowell and Railyn McDowell; siblings, LaShawyn (Brian Reed) Wood, Joseph (Katrina) McDowell Jr., Marquita McDowell, Blair (Justin) Sedwick and Dominic McDowell; aunt, Diane Stamps; great-aunts, Mattie, Geraldine and Mildred; Godchildren, Akaila, Akayla and Javis; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, DeOnna Boone; mother, Dorothy Jackson; and brother, Edward Wood Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Carl E. Miller Sr. will officiate.
