Caroline L Corry

Caroline L. Corry, 80, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, surrounded by family at her home.

She was born March 8, 1931 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Stephen and Caroline Fiedler. She is the beloved wife of Arthur Simon Corry, married 61 years. They met at London Dairy when she was 16 years old, where she served him a giant ice cream cone. They married June 10, 1950 and the rest is history.

Mrs. Corry worked as a cashier at many grocery stores. She was the office manager for Tony Richards Construction for 21 years. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was baptized, confirmed, married and active in the Mary Martha guild. She loved being with her family and friends.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and is survived by two sons, Stephen (Linda) Corry and Charles (Vicki) Corry; a daughter, Susan (Dennis) Bucholtz; grandchildren, Amy (Patrick) O’Rourke, Charles (Christina) Corry, Jacqueline (David) Moore, Ian (Alisha) Corry, Jillian (Jeff) Iles, Kyle (Ashley) Corry, Daniel (Tera) Corry, Halle, Jamie and Jonathan (Kristie) Corry, and Tyler and Kip Bucholtz; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Eileen (James) Collins; and a sister-in-law, Dorothea Kinnee. Caroline was dear and loved by all her family and countless friends.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Reverend John Carrier will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Blue Water Hospice.
