Robert C Neal

Robert C. Neal, 95, of St. Clair, died Friday, February 17, 2023.

He was born March 4, 1927 in Grand Rapids to the late Joseph and Annie Neal. He married Vanda L. Sweet on March 5, 1949 in Port Huron. She died April 3, 2014.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was employed as a Superintendent with New Haven Foundry for many years and was a member of the American Legion Smiths Creek Post #525.

He is survived by three children, Linda Lane, Clayton (Kay) Neal and Julie (The Reverend John) Jobe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Neal; and son-in-law, Robert Lane.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Woody Nelson will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be Timothy, Robert and Joshua Harrison, Paul Curtis, Josiah Jobe and Joseph Neal. Honorary pallbearer will be John Mehal. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
