Sylvia M Wolff

Sylvia Marie Wolff, 84, of Kimball Township, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

She was born May 29, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Silvio and Flora Luciani. She married Albert “Joe” Wolff on April 21, 1956 in Smiths Creek. He died September 18, 1992.

Sylvia was a Secretary for the Port Huron Area School District for 32 years. She enjoyed caring for her home, working in her yard, cutting grass and tending her flower beds. Sylvia also loved horses, going to horse shows with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member and volunteer at St. Christopher Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Rosary Church in Smiths Creek.

She is survived by her three children, Bryan (Bonny) Wolff, Terry Wolff (Linda Fraley) and Michelle (Mark) Torello; five grandchildren, Britney (Jonathan) Borowski, Garrett (Ashley) Wolff, Travis (Alyssa) Wolff, Melissa (Shawn) Mugridge and Megan (Andrew) O’Connor; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Luciani; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolly Nutt and brother Arnie Luciani.

Visitation will be held from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 4:30 p.m.

Mrs. Wolff will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate. Pallbearers will be Garrett Wolff, Travis Wolff, Jonathan Borowski, Shawn Mugridge and Andrew O’Connor.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
