Thomas E. McFarlane, 83, of Scottsboro Alabama, formerly of Port Huron, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
He was born November 26, 1939 in Palms, Michigan to the late Thomas H. and Jetta McFarlane. He married Susan Quinn on May 24, 1985 in Port Huron.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Chrysler Corporation for years before his retirement in 2000. He also worked at McMorran Arena and was a school crossing guard. He enjoyed hunting and keeping busy outside. He was a member of American Legion Post 255, Croswell.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan; seven children, Debbie (Gabe) DiPippa, Randy (Leslie) McFarlane, Tim (Carla) McFarlane, Timothy (Sonja) Quinn, Teresa Quinn, Terry (Diane) Quinn and Tanya (John) Douglass; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Reverend Robert (Cheryl) McFarlane; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Randy McFarlane Jr.; brother, James McFarlane; and sister, Donna (Gerald) Manchester.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Josh Woods will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
Burial will be in Downington Cemetery, Deckerville.
