Larry C Nichols

Larry Carson Nichols, 88, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, March 9, 2023.

He was born August 10, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Carson and Louise Nichols. He married Shirley Louise Geick on June 13, 1964 in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Larry graduated from Port Huron High School in 1952 and then served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a produce manager in Detroit for 11 years and then was a driver for Cadillac Overall and Gerry’s Distributing until his retirement. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends in his basement rec room, meeting his buddies for breakfast, going on Casino bus trips and was a huge Elvis fan.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley; daughter, Kelly Larsen; son, Jason Nichols; three grandchildren, Logan and Mackenzie Nichols and Kyra Larsen; brother, Carson Allen (Kathy) Nichols; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Nichols.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Dr. Mark Madson will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.
